Breeding an Animal

Breeding an Animal

What can hatred breed?
More hatred?
Or vengeance?
Unquenchable and inextinguishable

What can anyone do?
At things so unnatural?
Against ire so profound
That clenches onto your soul

How will voices move?
When there’s a din all around you
At whom will you shout?
And pound to death in about

Will there be any solace for the rested
Will this violence be replaced by complacence?
Will there be angels waiting for the dead?
Or just people with tears and cries by their bed?

Will there be a break in this loop
For those who are left aloof?
Can you keep away from the same hatred?
When you see the tiny hands of those you knew?

Shouting and screeching
Incessant weeping
Pounding on worn brows
People lying dead in scores

What can god do?
When the devil is your only friend?
What can love cure?

When there’s nothing left to spare?

THE COLUMNIST

The Columnist

Detective
Yes?
A moment sir
Huh..? You’re mistaken I’m no cop

Au contraire sir
I can see in fact, that you are incognito
Your attire speaks volumes of you
You profession is also divulged by your boots

I see
What is it that you need?
I’m actually to be unseen
I thought I looked clean

Au contraire sir
Your gun is showing
Your temples are quite loudly throbbing
Your brow is profusely sweating

Alright my good man
What is it that you need?
I’m busy anyways
Hiding from the hidden

Excellent sir!
I wish you good luck!
But my matter is quite pressing you see,
There is somewhere right now, we need to be

I’m sorry
I cannot leave my post
The suspect might walk in anytime
It’s up to me to see what I can find

But sir!
There is this body!
I found it sometime ago
A young lady, dead by a harsh blow!

What!?
Take me there now my good man
I fear my post must be left unmanned
Let us make haste then

Here sir
It’s in this corner if you please
A dreadful business I’m afraid
Her pooled blood blocks our way

Female, age around thirty
Cause of death: Blunt force trauma to the head
By the position, Killer must be left handed
No foot prints or obvious mark left behind

Excusez moi sir!
Might I divulge something of real importance?
Yes, please if you may put away your recorder?
You see, I’m your mysterious killer

Good night sir
Sleep tight (Crack!!!)
Poor girl, served her purpose well
With the very same crack on her skull

THE TIMEKEEPER

The Timekeeper

I have walked past the Frozen Mountains
Mountains which had crumbled long ago
I’ve been living through many old times
I now decide where things are to go

I have walked past all the seven seas
Them; I swallowed in a single gulp
The fish, I made them stand and walk
To the holy hillocks and squat

I have walked past all humanity
I’ve watched them blame themselves
The women corrupt everything they touch
The men kill everything that walks

I have walked past divinity
I pray to God all the same
I knelt at that holy place
Till I was bathed in his light

I have walked past several tombs
Past the valiant fallen, I’ve walked
They grimaced from their graves
Their ugly features were rotting

I have walked past true love
I cried when it was lost
I regained my majestic stature
Then I begot the Wonderwall

I’ve walked past the hideous past
I walk past the painful present
I’ll walk past the uncertain tomorrow
For I am the Keeper of them all

THE TERRORIST

The TerrorisT

The terrorist
Angry at us all
He fights for justice
In his own sense and all

Slaves to western monopoly
Silent with generations of tears
Worked silently for years and years
While they stood guard with their spears

Fascists, Dictators, Imperialists
We’ve seen and suffered you all
Whatever name you give to yourselves
You’ll never get redemption’s call

Marred and destroyed civilizations very old
Greed and blood lust was what you sought
This new mask of democracy can’t fool us
We remember all the bloody wars we’ve fought

Ours lands sold to you for liquor
Our jobs taken to enslave us
Put in jails to rot and to die
Shaped like coffins filled with dust

The whole world still remembers
All the horrors you’ve given us
You cannot retreat nor rest
We are the current buzz

Tired of socializing with mangy slaves
You went ahead and conquered the west
Brought with you even more sad people
To slave for you like us and the rest

You nearly slaughtered a whole race
They are still tormented by this disgrace
English-man and Ameri-can
The very same coin with two sided faces

Vaporised civilians living in two towns
killed all offspring in that place
Monsters of war are born, even today
No hands, no legs, and a hideous face

You might have deceived the whole world
By changing what you call yourself
Your women can whore around with the world
Nothing changes, your blood  still remains the same

Yanker or a wanker
I really do not care
You’ve tested my patience
For too long have we stayed

Don’t worry my good man
Our time has already come
The English have weakened
At home in the United States

Their war mongering and weapons fronting
Is  just a scared man’s desperate attempt
To survive,to spend more of his weapons
very fast, before they sit and start to rust

We are still alive, we are still awake
Beware, Mr. Scientist
We are already there
Get ready for the scare

GRIZZLY MAN

Grizzly Man

I sat on a park bench, sweaty reeked of stench
Away from the frolicking crowd, who shout aloud
Steamed up over something absurd, I sat murred
Nothing in particular for that, I didn’t know what

A grizzly man came by the bench, of similar stench
Walked by me a few times and more, I saw gore
He stopped before me, now I could clearly see
Asked if he could join the bench, his fists clenched

Mad at him, I said bluntly, rather abruptly
Man, there are others, we’re not brothers
Please sir, I’m feeling blue, and I have no clue
I need company to get through, it’s true

He told me a tale at random, stuffed with wisdom
Beard fluttered as he led on with them, feelings stem
Told me the story of his monotonous life; his lovely wife
How sad he was, his life had no vice, yet it wasn’t nice

I patted him on the shoulder, said brother don’t bother
As he broke into a constant tear, I inched near, no fear
Said he could go back to his life, his wife, it was all rife
Life is something dear, you must stay by near

Gladly he smiled at me, a comrade I was to be
His teeth showed, a beautiful yellow and red
Stains of recently chewed pan, on his suburban tan
Shone his greasy nose, as he nodded at me and rose

He stopped to say something, which was my becoming
Said I was of a rare breed, I stuck faithfully to my creed
I showed great kindness, despite my own swollen grief
This was heaven to him and me, this gave us relief

Stranger, I am truly shaken, my bad mood broken
This disturbing figure of a man, you are god’s plan
Life is not as hard as it seems to be, friendship is glee
Get your own experience, if you don’t just believe in me

LONELY FRIEND

Lonely Friend

 He approached me for help
I could offer none
He plead for companionship
I was nowhere to be found

Lonely friend
Strives to achieve
Does everything on his own
Of dejection, he never does moan

His world collapsing
His thoughts relapsing
His eyes searching for hope
But he never finds none

In the nick of time
Coupled with all sorts of pain
He has a friendly demeanour
He calls no one on his endeavours

Sad, disturbed, frustrated
Happiness is always belated
Thrown around on a whim
He picks himself and dusts down

How could anyone bear so much?
Why does life deny him any pleasure?
What could be his destiny?
Yet Another profound mutiny?

What he seeks, he will find
All the roads will unwind
The divine interventions will cease
Only when he reaches the crease

The world is a great equalizer
A wise man once told me
If what he said were true
He can strip boundaries & go through

Hard work always pays up manyfold
He has to hold tight and remain bold
His time is approaching, tremors quaking
He will be placed on a pedestal and given the world

ZAZZY

Zazzy

Today is such a wonderful day
I’ll take you to that special place by the quay
Rose petals and romance with candlesticks
You’ll have fun all the way, to my funny quips

I can’t dance, but so can’t you
We’ll dance to the offbeat, my lieu
Your eyes in mine, dissolved and nice
Nothing around can jazz down this spice

Round and round Matilda, we dance softly
My grace and your embrace, to the music’s play
Rolling around in my arms, your hair sways along
I’ll brush it off your face; your lips sing a song

With longing, my heart starts to pound
Even as our bodies are so tightly bound
I squirm and ache, to feel the touch of your skin
Caress you gently, and take you for a spin

Baby im tryin’ real hard to take it slow
But can’t hold back, I see how your skin glows
I breathe softly on the nape of your slender neck
In my arms, you tremble and you quake

Our feelings are so, so strong
Hold me, nothing’ll ever go wrong
Every distance from you is so far
The music has played its part

The sweet jazz plays around you and me
Every soft beat, my heart skips a beat
The sax explodes in sweet tender warmth
Your sparkling eyes call & I pull you into my arms

VOLATILE DREAMER

Volatile Dreamer

In the light of my recently twisted soul, ‘twas lost to light
It started fresh and clean, as sound as it could seem
My night has dreams, with visions unfaithful to my sight
They change form, for mysterious reasons, just like cream
I save the princess from herself, from Villans I’m a knight
Pass death through ten space vermin, with a single beam
Psychedelic acid filled dreams, ending in blinding white
I stop where I start, just when the waking sun starts to gleam
All the poison in my mind, lost in space, in a different phase
The brittle unkempt truth I found, lost to the blazing sun’s gaze
An empty room is the welcome I receive, I’m lost in reality
I dress up and run to work, where they exact, post work fidelity
My dream, you wake me up when you rapidly flash past me
I wake up to an unreal life, and in places I never want to be

POEM OF LIFE

Poem Of Life

When I sit down, to start to think of that which I did
I think of things contemporary, not on yesterday’s bid
Dreams of wide open spaces, with blasphemous nightmares
My standard occupation, dwelled in the concepts of selling wares
My soul quenched, I drank from the fountain of the lady of life
She whispered things in my ears; I was filled with unholy strife
Deserts in valleys of mountains, hidden from the beautiful sun
I run to balance the nature of things with the barrel of my gun
Danger lays in wait, in the fortunes of the wicked entrepreneur
His present is fruitful, his future devoid of shape and volatile
He flirts with happiness and sleeps with many women unfaithful
Darkness starts in his times, it slithers, he starts to shiver
His home, his wife, his life and his property, are all too fragile
He makes for another country, when his  death happens to pull
